DIY Rose Water Labeling Kit

I’m no skin care junkie. Mind you, I don’t have perfect skin (not by a long shot), and I’ve tried many different treatments/products/lines over the years, to no avail. To be fair, by God’s grace, I learned patience (when will this end? I’m in my twenties!) and contentment (fighting the really? breaking out the ONLY day I really didn’t want to?). Buuuut I’m not going to say no to trying something to help my skin be as healthy as possible, and when it’s natural!

My sister introduced me to rose water, and incorporating it into a spray bottle to DIY your own facial mist! I’ve fallen in love with it and wanted to show you how I created my own product label.

What you’ll need:

  • Amber glass bottle with spray nozzle (I LOVE these!)
  • Heathered paper (or other paper that’s not too thick)
  • Ruler
  • Micron pen
  • Scissors
  • Matte Mod-Podge
  • Foam brush
  • Rose water

Here’s how to make it!

Step 1: Using your piece of paper, sketch out the dimensions of the label you want for your glass spray.

Step 2: Cut the label from the page. Make sure to have clean edges, since everything’s going to show!

Step 3: Use a pen to design a label for your rose water!

I had fun playing with script, handwriting, borders, and rose accents.

Step 4: Use a foam brush to apply some matte mod-podge/sealant.

Make the layer thin so you don’t get unwanted bumps underneath the paper. Also, seal the front of the label!

Step 5: Add rosewater to the amber bottle!

And voila! You have your own rose water mist to spritz over your skin whenever you need! I spray it on every morning after washing my face and in the evening before bed. Aaaand sometimes in between, whenever I feel my skin needs some extra moisture throughout the day!
